1/350 USS Enterprise CVN-65 (2008 refit) @ 40%

A little more progress, fittig of engine inlets takes a little time. Lights are made from clear sprue, then sanded to fit.
A little polish and done. This is going to be out of the box with a/m decals and wheels as I dont like the kit ones.

Hi guys

Well, finally some progress...

Given I'll be painting this in a high gloss black finish, which will make it very difficult to conseal any stuff-ups :? can anyone give me some tips with sanding (grade(s), methods etc...) as I am certainly no expert in this regard!

As you can see I had a couple of issues with fitting the fuselage halves together.....

Yours is coming along nicely, not long until painting ? I would downgrade in wet 'n dry (Sand)papers FROM 400 grit -1200 ? S-L-O-W-L-Y
