Looking good Matty. This is a cow of a kit to get together. This is the second one and again I wish I had never started it. Don't think it is up to the usaul Hasegawa standard. How have you found it so far? I'm going to toss the wheels and tyres away as the tyres have turned to jelly in the box over the years of being kept. I will use Royal Resin wheels.

Here's where I am up to( but ever slowly). I have the pit assembled only. Wings done and lights in, reinforcements on tail removed as this is supposed to be an early F14 tail .

Looking good so far fellas. Those seats look great too Steve! I arrived home from Singapore yesterday so I hope to get a bit more done on mine this week. Glad I'm not the only one whose had a few fit issues (mine's the Academy kit).
Have had a couple of days off with the flu and hence some extra modeling time as well. A few touch-ups to do, another gloss coat and then she'll be ready for decals on the weekend. Unfortunately I cracked the canopy, so at this stage I need to source another
I'm also trying to decide what weapons I'll deck it out with...
