The wide mouth is an advantage as the container is rigid. A suggested method of application is to pick up some Roo Grip with a clean wooden stick or applicator, place it on a palette (I use an old CD) and apply it with a cocktail stick.
I understood that it could be used as a replacement for CA and was more durable and flexible than CA hence better when handling the model. But you say it is no better or worse, so now I'm feeling I haven't a clue.

I used the same method when dealing with Ca, Ie toothpick.
Although put CA on a cd and the result is not good...fogging and glue goes sticky then hard and white.
