Boeing E-7A Wedgetail

Well before the crash this was my entry.







I managed to get some work done on it last night, pictures are still on the camera though and will come onthe next update.

Work so far:
Appropriate cabin windows cut out
Fuselage bulkheads fitted
Cockpit instrument panel shroud modified
Cockpit seats updated
Engine forward and rear sections cleaned up and glued together and filled
Fin forward fillet removed and modified section fitted and filled
Began puttying remaining cabin window 'divots'
'Surfboard' fitted to mounting pylon.

Looking good so far. There was one of these buzzing around Canberra Airport the other day.

Progressed a little on this but no further pictures. Almost time to button up the fuselage.

Watching this one with interest. I have a Fred Harris resin 1/72 BBJ that I plan to build as a Wedgetail, have the cabinet space just need time and motivation! Oh, and decals...

Its been in its box for some time without any attention Andrew. Looking at this thread I had forgotten how much work I had actually done on it.
