Was the personal mount of Wing Commander Cedric Thomas who had the Road Runner applied to the nose and what became 'Çedric's Cheesecake' on the tail along with a few more squadron aircraft including A3-24. In 1974, whilst attached to ARDU it landed wheels up at Tullamarine airport before being written off charge. It was later restored to a Museum display at Classic Jet Fighters by Bob Jarrett and his crew but due to requirements to close the Museum due his wife's ill health the Mirage was sold to the Queensland Aircraft Museum where it now resides. |
