A3-1 was Australia's first Mirage IIIO. Built in France it first flew on the 14th of March 1963 (in France) before being shipped to Australia aboard Hercules A97-206. It crashed 7/12/64 during spinning trials seriously injuring the pilot Sqn Ldr Svensson an RAF exchange pilot.
1/48 Hobby Boss Mirage IIIC/CJ converted to 'O' standards with Hamilton Hobbies conversion, decals from kit, Italeri kit and Aussie Decals. Thanks to Bruce Anders for the kit and Ryan for the conversion set.
