History

This was the last Sioux received by the ADF (Army). Its purchase price was the sum of $1 on the priviso that it never be sold off. It is now on display at the Army Aviation Museum, Oakey, Qld.

Kit

1/48 Italeri Bell 47 (recent release) with modified seats, scratch built- seatbelts, wiring looms, fire extinguisher, tail rotor brace and aerial, fuel lines, replaced whisker aerials and some re-scribing of missing panel lines around cockpit.
Painted with Model Master, Tamiya, Humbrol and Revell enamels with the orange faded out to show use.
Serials and Roundels from Spares as kits RAAF roundel decals crap except kangaroos and red cockpit numbers.
