1/32 Revell RF-4c

This is the 1/32 Revell RF-4c done in the markings of the Aircraft flown by SQNLDR Alan Reed (Vietnam Vets Museum Patron) in which he achieved 100 missions as a RAAF exchange pilot with the USAF.

The ejection seats are by Verlinden in lieu of those provided in kit. Alan Reed indicated that no weapons were carried, just alone, unarmed and unafraid or if it had have been me it would be alone, unarmed and scared shitless. It was not an easy build but would have been extremely difficult if not for the help and advice from Aussie Modeller members.

Paint and decals

It was painted in Mr Hobby colours in the FS colour range, glossed with Future prior to decalling and finally given a coat of Dullcote. The Carolina Kangaroo decals were a limited run done on request. Stencil markings came from a Microscale set from Hannants.
